Tiny Brain: ITSV Peter Parker had tons of money when he died because of all the in-universe Spiderman merch.
Regular Brain: All the merch you see in the movie is bootleg stuff because Peter couldn’t have received any money from it or sued for use of his image without revealing his identity.
Big Brain: It can’t all be bootlegged he made a Christmas album he must have found some way around it.
Glowing
Brain: Every cent he made off his image as Spiderman was eaten up by grad school tuition.
Galaxy Brain: Financial difficulties are a key element of Peter Parker’s story and to have him get rich off of becoming Spiderman erases the relatable and down-to-earth image that is key to his character.
Head Exploding: I like Aunt May and don’t want her to have to deal with financial stress on top of everything else after Peter dies.
Third Eye Opening: If May Parker, whose identity as Spiderman’s aunt/adoptive mother was revealed with his death, started a GoFundMe titled “supervillains destroyed most of my house, raising money for repairs” it’d be trending by that afternoon and 100% funded by evening.
